Prince Segun Ochuko Obayendo, the Group Managing Director of Temple Group Limited, emphasized the importance of not centralizing team leadership around a single individual. He conveyed this message during the closing remarks of a 12-day training program for potential state coordinators held at the Safety House in Abuja.
Prince Obayendo stressed the need for a team approach, highlighting that sole administrators in various states should be supported by competent individuals. The comprehensive training program, attended by 26 prospects both physically and virtually, equipped them with the necessary knowledge for effective coordination in their respective states.
Expressing gratitude, Prince Obayendo thanked SSO Cecilia Bongard for organizing and ensuring the success of the training exercise, which provided valuable insights for the organization’s state representatives
The driving force behind this 12-day training program which will also incorporate virtual participation, stemmed from feedback received from existing state coordinators. Their concerns regarding the lack of comprehensive training before assuming their roles, which in some instances resulted in subpar performance, were instrumental in shaping this program.
Prince Obayendo expressed his enthusiasm that this training will equip the company with a cadre of individuals who can effectively represent them in all 36 states. These participants will receive a comprehensive understanding of their job descriptions, empowering the company to provide them with the necessary support.
In closing, he urged the trainees to expand their horizons beyond vehicle inspection, emphasizing the company’s determination to thrive
