In a significant move on August 25, 2023, the Honourable Commissioner for Transport in Ekiti State, Hon. Ajobiewe Kehinde, along with Mr. Abulola, the Permanent Secretary of the Transport department, undertook a courtesy visit to the Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO). 

The purpose of the visit also involved a comprehensive tour of the Ekiti State Computerised Vehicle Inspection Service (EKCVIS) facility. The objective was to assess the degree of compliance among vehicle owners in the state with the equipment installed for conducting routine vehicle inspections.

Guided by the State Coordinator of EKCVIS, DSO Motunrayo Ogundayomi, the Commissioner and his delegation were led through the premises and provided insights into the functioning of the inspection bay. Detailed explanations were given about the capabilities and roles of the equipment in place.

Hon. Ajobiewe Kehinde, the recently appointed Transport Commissioner, expressed his commitment to providing steadfast support to the Ekiti Computerised Vehicle Inspection Service. He aims to collaborate closely with the service to achieve the defined objectives.
